Picture this: a hotel manager in Pattaya is having a normal day until bam—a tourist goes off the rails, probably because of a little too much of the green stuff.
According to Thaiger on Tuesday (October 15, 2024), the Scottish tourist in question is a 55-year-old woman named Tracy.
The chaos unfolded on Sunday (October 13) at 12:38 PM. Pattaya police got a frantic call from the hotel staff at Jomtien Beach Road saying, “Help! We’ve got a foreign guest losing her marbles in one of our rooms!”
When the cops showed up, they found Tracy in her hotel room, crying and clearly distressed. Around her? A party kit: a bottle of cannabis, smoking gear, and a mix of prescription meds.
The police tried their best to calm her down and guide her out to the reception area. But instead of chill vibes, Tracy decided to crank up the drama. She started yelling and acting out of control, to the point where the police had to step in and make sure things didn’t escalate into full-blown chaos.
A friend from Denmark, who’s known Tracy for over 15 years, filled the cops in on what might’ve triggered her erratic behavior. Apparently, they had been vacationing together in Pattaya for the past two days. Tracy picked up some weed, decided to light it up, and that’s when things took a nosedive. She began isolating herself and acting paranoid, which sent alarm bells ringing for her friend.
When it came time to get her into the police vehicle, Tracy wasn’t having it. She fought back, making it quite the challenge for the officers to get her in the truck as she continued to resist like a champ.
In the end, Tracy was taken to a medical facility for treatment. The running theory? It seems like a mix of her existing medical conditions, prescription meds, and some overindulgence in cannabis pushed her into full paranoia mode.
