But before we just rush into the rankings and the rivalries between airlines, let’s turn this around and talk about what we all do secretly after each flight – rank our airlines in our heads. And now we have them used the officially published list, ranked by 22.3 million passengers across 325 airlines. There is no bias, just passengers.

Garuda Indonesia took a big dip this year – from No. 31 in 2024 to No. 46. Not a great first impression but they still have their cabin crew, who ranked the 4th best in the world. Still something to be proud of given that service can be the ultimate differentiator in the sky these days.
Skytrax 2025 produced no surprises but it served up all the confirmations we needed: quality matters, passengers notice, and the airline space has more competition than ever. No matter how you’re traveling, whether in first class or budgeted economy, there is a ranked list for you.
