Due to the serious flash floods that took place in the areas around both the Trishuli and Bhote Koshi rivers, the search and rescue efforts are still taking place in Nepal. Although many tourists and travelers have been rescued, authorities reported that there are still hundreds of missing persons.
As per the report from the Nepal Tourism Board, authorities were able to save 121 tourists, and around 622 persons are missing.

The first group of people who has been reported missing included 183 Indian nationals. Out of this group, 85 were rescued, while it is still uncertain where 98 of them are.
A large number of Nepalese, which is confirmed by the information that shows that 149 of them are still highlighted in the list of missing travelers, comes as a second significant group.
Moreover, there are 67 citizens of the USA, 61 Ukrainians, 51 Malaysians, 35 Australians, and 33 citizens of the UK on the list of missing people. Two Americans are confirmed to be found, while the location of 65 other Americans remains undefined. The information regarding Ukranians, Malaysians, Australians, and Britons remains unchanged, with no information concerning the process of searching for them.
