Flydubai disclosed that it is canceling some flights to Saudi Arabia until October 24, 2026, due to the recent situation in the Gulf region. Three destinations are affected by the cancellations: Riyadh, Dammam, and Abha.

The airline’s spokesperson pointed out that the situation still creates a lot of challenges for the flight schedule to the mentioned country.

Air traffic at three Saudi airports is disrupted. The airports that are experiencing cases of disruption are King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, and Abha International Airport.

According to Flydubai, flights to the three above-mentioned cities are canceled until October 24.

The airline did not mention when the situation will stabilize and the normal operations will resume.

A Flydubai representative has stressed that the disruptions in flights to Saudi Arabia may continue in the future.

Flydubai added that it continues to monitor the situation and keeps all the passengers informed.

Travelers Advised to Confirm Flight Status Before Departure

Flydubai has recommended passengers who are traveling to and from Saudi Arabia check their flight status prior to arriving at the airport. This step will allow travelers to know if flights have been canceled or rescheduled.

Passengers should check with the official sources of the airline for the most up-to-date information, as a flight schedule may alter as per the latest happenings in the region.

The cancellations show how events in the Gulf region are disrupting air travel from Dubai to Saudi Arabia. Travelers can keep checking to make sure their flights from Dubai to Riyadh, Dammam and Abha are operating as planned till October 24.

Flydubai will monitor the situation and will keep passengers informed about any changes.
