The list of the world’s best hotels for 2024 has been released, with a hotel from Thailand taking the top spot, and Indonesia making it into the top 10.
According to the website 50Best on Thursday (September 18, 2024), the ranking features the top 50 hotels globally for this year. Leading the list is Capella Bangkok, which claimed the number one position.
Capella Bangkok is a relatively new hotel, having opened in 2020 with 110 spacious and elegant rooms. This 5-star hotel offers stunning views of the Chao Phraya River.
“When you arrive in Bangkok, the atmosphere is wild, chaotic, strange, and noisy. But once you enter the hotel, it’s like a moment of Zen—a sanctuary, a garden with beautiful trees filled with birds,” said one visitor.
Last year, Hotel Passalacqua in Italy took the top spot. This 5-star hotel overlooks the gorgeous Lake Como. However, this year, it ranks second.
Indonesia is also represented in the top 10, with Nihi Sumba making the list. Additionally, Desa Potato Head in Seminyak, Bali, secured the 21st spot in the top 50.
