The existence of this park is a reflection of the pattern of keratin culture and society that has meaning water as something that is essential for life. Tirta means water, and means river Ganges Ganges, a river located in India and is considered sacred by Hindus all over the world.

In the complex there Taman Tirta Gangga sanctuaries, springs, spring protector buildings, water towers, various forms of large and small pools, showers ornamental fish pond, a variety of plants and flowers.

Taman Tirta Gangga is a garden and architectural heritage of the last King of Karangasem, Anak Agung Ketut Karangasem Anglrurah the son of man he was. The parks belong together since 1981 who later handed over to Dr. management. Anak Agung Made Djelantik.

Location of the park is located on the edge of the highway to Amlapura. The park is located on a network that is close to attractions Puri Karangasem, Taman Ujung Karangasem, about 88 kilometers towards the east of the city of Denpasar, or about 2.5 hours away by car or motorbike from Kuta.

Around attraction Taman Tirta Gangga has available various facilities dominated for the visitors and tourists such as accommodation, parking lot, restaurant, and shop. In the garden complex swimming pool for adults and children.

Now, this park has the function of religious, social, and entertainment. Sacred springs provide water for the surrounding communities for religious ceremonies. The park is also a place for the ceremony and Metirtayatra Yadnya Gods. In addition the park is also a place of entertainment and recreation for the community and tourists.

Taman Ujung

The park is located near the beach area of Ujung, approximately five kilometers south of the town Amlapura. From Kuta is approximately 95 kilometers. This attraction is easily reached by any vehicle.

Taman Ujung was build began in 1919 and inaugurated in 1921 use. This park was built by King of Karangasem used as a resting place or for important guests such as kings or heads of foreign countries who visit the Kingdom of Karangasem.
D park there are three large pools and spacious. In the middle of the pond there is the northernmost major buildings are connected by two bridges. Next to the pool and the garden are flower pots and a few sculptures. Shape of the building is very grand and since has as a blend of European and Balinese architecture.

In the west pond at high altitudes are building with circular form, called Bale Bengong, a place to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding garden. To reach the top of the hills west there is a high and wide stile. In the north garden at the top of the hill there is a large statue ofwarak, and underneath there is a statue of a bull and a second mouth this statue will be trickling out to the pool water. From the top of this hill we can see the sights of nature is very beautiful and amazing. Far northeast that has seen Hill Business lush green forest. In the vast southern ocean stretches and looks around the park looks green rice terraces. Natural blend of mountains and the sea which is the park’s attraction for the tourists.
